I had the worst thing ever last summer. I still question how long coronavirus has been around.

Social anxiety and extreme boredom. Now, thanks to COVID19 i go outside more often, feel happy again and i laugh on a constant basis while watching the news and listening to scared normies.COVID19 also changed my financial life into better, since IT jobs are better payd, while others become poorer thanks to lockdowns imposed by corrupt governments.

Thank you COVID19 !

My son caught "something" from school from a friend of his that has travelled overseas to India in October last year.

Day 1 and 2, onset of sire sore throat, flowed by severe body aches.

Day 3 to 10 days plus of high fever up to 40 degrees but averaging 39 never below 38.5 and persistant hackin dry cough.

All lab tests NEGATIVE!

Developed pneumonia, second swab tesed POSITIVE for pneumonia (Mycoplasma).

Dr prescribed Azithromycin for 5 days, improved on day 2 or 3.

I caught it off him! First fever illness in 5+ years.

Worst illness I ever experienced in my life. Took me a good 4-6 weeks to come right, then developed skin rashes! Still have the rashes "Dermatographia".

can't wait for the antibodies test to be available in Australia.

Wife also caught it but not as severe.

Back in 2017

Sore throat
Fever
Would speak in language that wasnt real because it made me feel better.

Sick for 2 weeks

My colds usually last 2 week

I think it took 3 weeks to fully recover. the 3rd week I was in the recovery phase

Never been sick since.

A doctor I know, in his late 20s was given the flu shot in September and two weeks later had to be hospitalised and was on ventilation

The best way to describe it? Maybe lyme disease?

most people i speak to say the last 6-8 months has been non stop illness, just recovering for a week and then the same thing again.

i think there has definitely something been around for a while.

There was a strong flu going around, a bit of an unusual one, a Influenza B strain (most are A strains). Dunno quite what the difference is, but that's what I found out when researching what was going around last fall in North America

I recall reading somewhere that there was some swine flu going around as well, but I can't find the source for that (read that like a month ago)

Re: Pre-COVID-Who else was sick and miserable? What did you think you had? What was it?
I had what I thought was flu B in January. I chugged coconut oil, and the fever and lower gi symptoms were gone within 2 hours. My sister in law who lives about 3 hours away had horrible upper respiratory symptoms in december/ january. Lots of medical professionals believe it was here last year and early 2020. I'm wanting to get an antibody test to find out whether I had c19
