I used to shoot them from my recliner through an open window with a backstop on my fence when they would discover my dogs food. 22 subsonic shorts. Made for a fun Sunday afternoon sometimes. Anyhow what is weird is their behavior. When they land, for the most part they are stationary and non competitive in searching for food. I suspect they are full. The center of the activity revolves around the roof. It’s much more likely that some spook made it rain seed up there in an effort to help the apocalypse story along in my opinion. The extra food would account for the slightly higher numbers then I’ve seen before at a shopping center. I also haven’t seen them quite so brazen with the car landings in such large numbers.. |
