REPORT COPYRIGHT VIOLATION IN REPLY
Message Subject Michigan:U.S. Police Departments Deploy Drones Donated by Chinese Manufacturer

A Chinese manufacturer is donating drones to police departments across the United States so agencies can better surveil citizens they suspect are violating social distancing orders.

Shenzhen-based DJI Enterprise recently donated monitoring equipment to the Battle Creek Police Department and Kent County Sheriff’s Department in Michigan.

Roon said the drones will not be used to “monitor” crowds that may be violating Gov. Gretchen Whitmer’s stay-at-home order — yet.

Accepting communist Chinese drones to be used against the American people. Unfuckingbeliveable

I obtained a prototype DJI Mavic 2-ED drone 2 yrs mo's for evaluation $400 USD/import fees cost more to PI's even though box clearly stated eval only, not for resale). Bottom like it sucks! FLIR cam is only 384x200 pixels and their firmware/software sucks big time. I wrote my own firmware/android app removing all the CCP PLA spyware from it. In addition, I added ADS-B receiver, additional GPS and LED wiring (up to 1,000 watt multicolored) spotlight. I volunteer with it to use with local PDRRMO (First Responders_ as needed. Needless to say full brightness of the LED spotlight lowers flight time to 40%. I lower it abour 30-40x which is well useful. Also unlocked NFZ and altitude limits (in use by with goverment SAR's).

EDIT, I have pemission to use my hacked DJI Mavic 2 Enterprise and my assessment is DON'T BUY is for FLIR cabapitlies, torch and speaker are the only useful feathers, long with "4k gridsearch) FLIR. Even with limitations, it can still spot people congregating at 200-400m attitude. Plus if fun to turn on spotlight or speaker and announce to disperse.

I also forgot there is tech to easily bring down these cheap DJI drones:
