422 Starlink satellites on orbit as of today, could be sending out 5G frequencies anywhere on the planet

Yea I wish they would hurry up and get their service out where I am, so I can ditch the monopoly of the horrible ISP called Telus, that's here.

That's crazy, I checked the other day and it was 300.

I watched some of them pass overhead the other night. Was kinda weird. About 20 of them spaced 15-30 seconds apart.

You choose to see it from a standpoint of fear, and see it as a super villain thing -

I chose to see it from a Star Trek viewpoint, and see it as a technological marvel that will free mankind from the slavery of local government.

IE North Korea and China won't be able to stop this thing.

Lol. Way too far away “5G” is ultra high bandwidth high frequency it would never make it to the surface and be completely useless. 5G towers are in extremely close proximity telephone poles lamp posts etc scattered all over town just to cover a small few city blocks.

All that aside I am super excited for Star Link if it’s half what they promise it will be it will put rural areas on the map and free them from asinine hughesnet God awful internet plans and or DSL from the Stone Age.

My telus DSL is supposed to max out at 6mbits, but is currently running at 1mbit because of their street equipment failure that they refuse to fix on account of some unspecified "future upgrade" that will happen several years from now, I was told.

5G operates in the mm wave frequencies that were used by the military.

A 62GHZ beam directed at you will cause choking until you drop dead.
A 90GHZ Beam will burn your skin, there are other side effects but i think you got the picture.
