I fell 12 feet, landing on my side and only fractured my fibula on the right leg.
It was in St Sebastien in Spain, after an argument with a so-called friend. We were sleeping on the rocky mount there, with the statue of Jesus at the top, I think it was Jesus, but it might be John Lennon - not sure.

We had had an argument about homosexuality and then split up- he going to his bush to sleep under and me to mine. In the faltering light I got top to toe covered in human faeces, as in France and Spain, some people think it is okay to shit in such places that young hitchhikers choose to sleep for the night.
There was a little fountain that I remembered was nearby so went to wash it all off, then saw my ex-friend sitting on some steps nearby and then decided for no reason to jump over a wall - the 12 foot drop. I was lucky as I missed a sticking up broken off tree stem that would have gone right through me.

Waking from the concussion the next morning, I then had to hitchhike all the way home to Britain limping in great pain, with no belongings and covered in shit which took three days.

I don't know why people don't enjoy life more and instead share stories about their not-broken telephones - amazing!
