There are innumerable reasons tankers tank fuel. It’s what they do. It could be a deployment, it could be training. Every military pilot that flies a jet capable of air-to-air refueling has to do it several times per year to retain currency so they can do it if and when needed in combat. It happens every fucking day. |

I thought everyone went to the KC 35's The KC-135 is older. The new version is the RC-135. They have much larger and more powerful engines on them. The KC-10 is the military version of the L-1011 which has been converted into an air-to-air refueling tanker and, yes, they’re still flying them. |

Evil controls the ignorant... Climate change is a hoax so is the vax you have been fear-porned into compliance! Definition Satan from the bible: Satan (Rev 12:7) exercising his subtle (indirect) impact on heathen governments (powers) – i.e. accomplishing his hellish agenda from "behind the scenes." |

Military Assumes Responsibility (for) Separation (of) Aircraft. It makes it easier on Air Traffic Control because there is only one AC flight plan, one AC to control and many aircraft can be moved with ATC assuming it’s just ONE. It makes it easier on ATC. |

The only time I have seen that is in combat In MARSA, all aircraft must stay in visual contact with each other and remain within one mile of the lead AC. One mile is more than enough room for many AC. One Tanker could tow 15 or more fighters MARSA. The tanker speaks with ATC and the rest follow. |

Makes sense. I just happened to see them and couldn't figure out why they were all so tight. Still find it curious though Light travels faster than sound.
