there is no day of the Lord rapture. And may I ask about those who are not of your Christian religion.. the one that jesus did NOT start?
Quoting: ALL IS ONE IS ALL

FALSE. there is no rapture or resurrection event for those lost in the urantia cult .

and the christian church began with GOD's one and only begotten son himself.

Matthew 16:18 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

urantia cult and new-age has already lost.

Re: Why the Rapture may be sooner than many people think.
NOT when the so-called "understanding" violates scripture.

How many people have killed someone because SUPPOSEDLY "God said to"?

Neither Father God nor His Son would have a mother kill her children - a Dad kill his whole family - etc...

Satan is a deceiver. He'll do anything to get folks to DENY what either Father God OR His Son have said.

"Paul only" is a deception to do just that.
 Quoting: Servant-of-the-LORD

so YOU get to decide what understanding is right and what violates scripture...? is that what you're saying ...? sorry pal, you don't get to validate ANYTHING the Holy Spirit has shown to ANYBODY...

... so prove that YOU know GOD and not just scripture ... PROVE IT..! Quoting scripture doesn't mean you have ANY relationship with GOD... Satan knows scripture PERFECTLY ... knowing words in a book is MUCH different than being shown the proper understanding...

Do you see how stupid that sounds...? No one can "prove" what the spirit has shown them individually and no one has to "PROVE" anything to you, and only someone completely arrogant would assume it...

...and I'll say it again, the fact you can quote scripture means absolutely nothing without the Holy Spirit interpreting it for our understanding..., the Pharisee, Sadducee knew scripture perfectly ... and had NO CLUE who Jesus was. Has it ever occurred to you, others may have a profoundly different and deeper relationship with GOD than you??

You don't get it. You keep attacking ME when scripture ITSELF proves your doctrines wrong.

0. "Ignore the commandments"? DEBUNKED by scripture.

1. "Two gospels"? DEBUNKED by scripture.

2. "Paul sent to ONLY gentiles"? DEBUNKED by scripture.

3. "Jesus ONLY to gentiles"? DEBUNKED by scripture.

4. "rapture"? DEBUNKED by scripture.
 Quoting: Servant-of-the-LORD

Mathew 16:7

And Jesus answered, and said to him, Blessed art thou, Simon, the son of Jonah: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.

Acts 16:14

And a certain woman named Lydia, a seller of purple, of the city of the Thyatirians, which worshipped God, heard us: whose heart the Lord opened, that she attended unto the things, which Paul spake.

... without the Holy Spirit not even Peter would have known who Jesus was... not everyone that knows the Bible is spirit filled... satan knows the Bible

Mathew 7:21

"Not everyone that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven, but he that doeth my Father’s will which is in heaven.

Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not by thy Name prophesied, and by thy name cast out devils? and by thy name done many great works?

23 And then will I profess to them, I never knew you, depart from me ye that work iniquity."

Pride is an amazing thing...

womanchild Thanks that was a nice post.

Taken out of context to support the "rapture".

A few verses earlier we're told to "look up". WHY?
For the simple FACT that Believers WILL be around when Jesus RETURNS aka the Second Coming.

Luke 21

27 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.

28 And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.

------------
31 So likewise ye, when ye see these things come to pass, know ye that the kingdom of God is nigh at hand.

---------------------------------
Luke 21:36 "stand before the Son of Man".

WHEN does that happen?
The White Throne Judgement
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 3465970

white4 The White Throne Judgement is for unbelievers, not Christians who believed in the Lord and endeavored to keep His commandments. You also deceptively posted only a few verses of Luke that referred to the Rapture. Here it is in full and it does not support what you are saying.

Luk 21:26 Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.
Luk 21:27 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.
Luk 21:28 And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.
Luk 21:29 And he spake to them a parable; Behold the fig tree, and all the trees;
Luk 21:30 When they now shoot forth, ye see and know of your own selves that summer is now nigh at hand.
Luk 21:31 So likewise ye, when ye see these things come to pass, know ye that the kingdom of God is nigh at hand.
Luk 21:32 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass away, till all be fulfilled.
Luk 21:33 Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.
Luk 21:34 And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares.
Luk 21:35 For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth.
Luk 21:36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.

"The White Throne Judgement is for unbelievers"?

Really?

Take a closer look at the passage. IF ONLY nonbelievers will be judged at the white throne, there's NO REASON to have ANY other book open than the "Book of Life". There's ALSO no reason to judge them "according to their works".

Revelation 20

12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.

13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.

14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.

15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

....TO....

...."rapture" and "Paul ONLY for gentile" doctrines that weren't created until 1800+ YEARS LATER?

PURE IGNORANCE to scripture.

SCRIPTURE proves your doctrines wrong - not me.

And there are MILLIONS who don't believe your NONSENSE.

"Paul only" is a doctrine of DECEPTION - as it DIVIDES Believers.

"Is Christ divided"?????

NOPE.

"Paul Only" support requires a division of Believers...

...yet Paul himself said "Is Christ divided?"

How ironic that Paul's own words would REBUKE the doctrine based on his own writings.

Jesus said He would build His church...

Matthew 16:18 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

Yet "Paul Only" folks will claim a different "church" built on Paul.

NOT Biblical.

Amo 3:7 Surely the Lord God does nothing, unless He reveals His secret to His servants the prophets.

Was a pretrib rapture prophesied in the OT like Christ was and the end times. Christ did not even mention it.

In Luke to escape everything is God's wrath and then caught up and gathered before Christ. But in Luke Christ says that his elect will go through tribulation and so does Matthew and Mark.

Does the pretrib believers not think they are part of the elect?

You believe the Pre-

There isn't going to be a pre-tribulation rapture.

All the sinners of My people shall die by the sword, which say, The evil shall not overtake nor go before us.
Amos 9:10

I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil. John 17:15

Teaching that there will be a rapture that will take believers away before the Tribulation = Death by the sword.

The evil, the affliction, the dark and cloudy day, the time of trial, the great tribulation, Jacob's trouble, The valley of Achor.

Irenaeus who heard the preaching John, and was taught by Polycarp a disciple of John

2. Moreover, he (the apostle) has also pointed out this which I have shown in many ways, that the temple in Jerusalem was made by the direction of the true God. For the apostle himself, speaking in his own person, distinctly called it the temple of God. Now I have shown in the third book, that no one is termed God by the apostles when speaking for themselves, except Him who truly is God, the Father of our Lord, by whose directions the temple which is at Jerusalem was constructed for those purposes which I have already mentioned; in which [temple] the enemy shall sit, endeavouring to show himself as Christ, as the Lord also declares: "But when ye shall see the abomination of desolation, which has been spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place (let him that readeth understand), then let those who are in Judea flee into the mountains; and he who is upon the house-top, let him not come down to take anything out of his house: for there shall then be great hardship, such as has not been from the beginning of the world until now, nor ever shall be."

4. The Lord also spoke as follows to those who did not believe in Him: "I have come in my Father's name, and ye have not received Me: when another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive," calling Antichrist "the other," because he is alienated from the Lord. This is also the unjust judge, whom the Lord mentioned as one "who feared not God, neither regarded man," to whom the widow fled in her forgetfulness of God,-that is, the earthly Jerusalem,-to be avenged of her adversary. Which also he shall do in the time of his kingdom: he shall remove his kingdom into that [city], and shall sit in the temple of God, leading astray those who worship him, as if he were Christ. To this purpose Daniel says again: "And he shall desolate the holy place; and sin has been given for a sacrifice, and righteousness been cast away in the earth, and he has been active (fecit), and gone on prosperously." And the angel Gabriel, when explaining his vision, states with regard to this person: "And towards the end of their kingdom a king of a most fierce countenance shall arise, one understanding [dark] questions, and exceedingly powerful, full of wonders; and he shall corrupt, direct, influence (faciet), and put strong men down, the holy people likewise; and his yoke shall be directed as a wreath [round their neck]; deceit shall be in his hand, and he shall be lifted up in his heart: he shall also ruin many by deceit, and lead many to perdition, bruising them in his hand like eggs." And then he points out the time that his tyranny shall last, during which the saints shall be put to flight, they who offer a pure sacrifice unto God: "And in the midst of the week," he says, "the sacrifice and the libation shall be taken away, and the abomination of desolation [shall be brought] into the temple: even unto the consummation of the time shall the desolation be complete." Now three years and six months constitute the half-week.

For the abomination of desolation to stop the daily sacrifice, there needs to be a daily sacrifice.

And a Temple.

He does not need my approvals. I could always be wrong but so could you. The scripture definately favors a prewrath/posttrib Rapture/ressurection.

It favors prewrath/posttrib so much that pretribbers need to say there is a second rapture to pick up the tribulation saints. Now I am seeing some say there are 3 raptures.

The whole premise of a rapture is built upon the word harpazo. It is how Christ gathers us for the 1st resurrection. It is not an addition to the bible or a doctrine.

Re: Why the Rapture may be sooner than many people think.
Why do you think there is a pretrib rapture?
 Quoting: Achduke7

Because my lifetime of Faith in Jesus Christ has led me to Believe differently than you.

Re: Why the Rapture may be sooner than many people think.
I live for no other reason than hoping to be one of those so blessed.

If I die tomorrow, so be it according to His Will.

If I was ever to leave of my own accord, it could only absolutely guarantee

that I would not be one of those so blessed.
