Aussie AC78924867,

Why did Jesus die?
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 78918000

He was beaten almost to death and then nailed to a cross.

Medically speaking he died from shock caused by massive trauma and dehydration ultimatley causing heart failure.

Jesus returns ONCE - to establish His Millenial Kingdom.
 Quoting: Servant-of-the-LORD

You make a irtrelevant point and are repeatedly told why it is irrelevant,
so you just ignore the explanation and just continue to say what you say anyway.
That does not show any pursuit of truth, but defense of Self.

AGAIN, The Rapture IS NOT Jesus returning here,

but taking us to Him.

So why do you keep saying this anyway?

german3 I'm pretty sure that Servant-of-the-DEVIL is some type of Jesuit who has been assigned this corner of the internet to silence those who would speak the truth. I think that he's made about a hundred posts on just this thread alone, which I mostly delete every now and then because otherwise the sheer volume and size of them would make the thread totally unreadable.

To some extent he serves a purpose, because it is good to see people like yourself joining in and defending the faith and the truth.

1 Thessalonians 5:4-9

But you, brethren, are not in darkness, so that this Day should overtake you as a thief.
You are all sons of light and sons of the day. We are not of the night nor of darkness.
Therefore let us not sleep, as others do, but let us watch and be sober.
For those who sleep, sleep at night, and those who get drunk are drunk at night.
But let us who are of the day be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love, and as a helmet the hope of salvation.
For God did not appoint us to wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ

John 4:24
God is a Spirit: and they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in TRUTH.

A person proclaiming to be a "Servant of the Lord" should be able to know the difference between hammering to death endless (and useless) arguments instead of proclaiming the simple Gospel.
Preach the Gospel.
Do what you are called to do.

A preoccupation or craving for useless word battles reveals the spirit of that person.
They are clouds - with no water.

Having the look and sound of someone who "fights" for what he thinks is the truth but instead, reveals that doesn't know Truth.

Calling yourself a servant, disciple, apostle or prophet does not make it so... having lots of green karma votes and friends does not impress God.

Jesus, The WAY, THE TRUTH, THE LIFE
DO YOU KNOW HIM?

How can I be ready to be caught up in the rapture?

Answer: The rapture is coming, and we should all make sure we are ready for it. Being ready for the rapture is much simpler than you may think. In short, you must receive Jesus Christ as your Savior. The rapture is for believers.

nor forget the covenant of thy fathers which
he sware unto them.

Believers have been going through various tribulations since the dawn of time.

The End Times will be NO different.

How do you earn your salvation?
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 78918000

1. Repent

Matthew 4:17 (KJV) From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.

Mark 1:15 And saying*, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe* the gospel.

2. Believe

John 3:16 (KJV) For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

3. Be "born again".

John 3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

4. Forgive others so the Father will forgive you.

Matthew 6:14 For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:
15 But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

5. Do the Father's Will

Matthew 7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

Matthew 12:50 For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother.

See what the wrath of God is like.

The Flood
Sodom and Gomorrah
Those who were "swallowed up by the earth" during

THAT is wrath.
