I dunno, i dont see what the big deal is. At least for now. When it becomes warmer i will refuse to wear it but for now if im going into a store or whatever, i will wear one. BTW i am in a state that requires it for all work, stores, etc.

Yes. Same here in Germany. If they just present conclusive scientific peer reviewed evidence people will wear masks if they help.

From what I can see here in Germany since the mandatory masks came in, they make it worse because people are not educated to use them.

Example:

Cashier at supermarket wearing one mask all day.

Mask is collecting samples of the supermarket air all day long.

Cashier touches mask on its outside by accident or unconsciously or to scratch herself, whatever. Fingers now loaded with all sorts of germs the surface collected all day long.

Cashier touches your food and money with germ loaded fingers.

My conclusion is that if they recommend masks they really need to educate people and for people who will wear them all day they need enough masks to change them frequently.

Right now the law in germany is that you wear one when you go in the store. Outside you need not. But the store workers need to wear them all day long. Usually they get 2 masks a shift I hear.

Why is wearing a mask so bad

The problem is, asymptomatic carriers can spread it to other people by NOT wearing a mask. That is the point - not wearing one is putting other people at risk.
