Scotiabank to close its metals business - no more gold and silver from them.
This might be a sign to come from other banks...

Interesting times are certainly ahead of us all...

Bank of Nova Scotia is closing its metals business, a division whose origins date back centuries and that brought prominence — and then lawsuits — to Canada’s third-largest bank.

This is a good time to retire, if you are in the position to do so...A friend of mine has a dental practice that has had his finances decimated by the pandemic, he may not recover...I wouldn't want to have to rebuild my business after this shit...

Two biggest banks in Canada are still in precious metals business.
Although Scotia’s decision could be a precursor.

Maybe they got directives from government to shut it down so that people could not preserve their savings when hyperinflation/devaluation kicks in.

I have this to say about that regarding the aforementioned:
Say, wasn't ScotiaBank one of the ones who had their gold/silver heisted under building 5 at the towers during 9/11? Were they made whole or still behind the 8 ball as to their losses in melt run off as in gold rivers running down the subway?

Yes they are and do you know why? Trump is halting the 100 years of gold and silver manipulation. Just wait until Judy Shelton gets put in place. Why do you think Nancy is dragging her feet getting back to D.C. If she holds off much longer Trump will sign an EO.

I tried to buy physical gold at several scotiabanks including their HQ bank and they would not sell to me many times. I had to put ads out for scrap gold and compete against pawn shops, I now have a little under a kilogram took me 8 years to stack that, and it was a job finding the gold...

hmmm, I never saw any of them, I guess I'll try to see what's available to me to view. As an aside, I am probably one of the few who has another underground heist event that I speculate upon. Remember Sandy, the Cat 1 alleged storm that to flood Manhattan? Well, I remember seeing some things being reported then that didn't add up and surmised that the flood was because of strategic closing of sewer drains and opening of others that caused some areas to flood necessitating for the gold to be removed from under a NY Bank or FED and transferred across the street to the other's vault.
It was very hinky from what I recall. I also might be the only person who thinks the Trade War was escalated by China asking for their bonds to be cashed in in GOLD or some other intrinsic valued collateral. Or else they would dump their bonds. I speculate that this has occurred in the past and that's how China got land at docks that were not taxable and for all intents and purposes "lil Chinas".

But, all this obviously points to fiat money death knell. The US probably doesn't have any and what is out there has been swapped for tungsten electro-plate.

Before the Great Depression gold and silver were basically stolen from the public in return they got paper money.

I wonder if this the modern day equivalent and if it means they are expecting another Great Depression.

What will be the price of 1 oz silver and 1 oz gold coins after next trillion dollar "easing/loans/paycheck-protection"?

Today, at a spot price of $14.89/oz AG, it is difficult to find any silver coins for less than $20/oz on APMEX.
