My niece was in a terrible car accident. I'm drinking til I get word that she's out of surgery. Talk to me glp. *Update pg 10

Update: She will be in surgery until around midnight. :( I just cannot fathom why it takes that long. I mean, I get it, but ugh. Poor kid.

Tragic story. Never sure what to say in these situations. Thank you for sharing such a personal story. I rarely give unsolicited advice, especially to strangers. But if I may, to those telling you not to drink, they can fuck off. Do what helps you to cope. Also, those criticizing you for not going there, ignore it. You seem pragmatic enough to know that there's nothing that you can do from the parking lot.

As for spirituality, pray. If I remembered correctly from one of your earlier posts, you moved away from religion. Pray, you moved away from God, God didn't move away from you. God will listen. God always does.

I had a sweet lil raccoonie come up behind me in the middle of it haha. I told her this isn't for you raccoonie, and went and got her some cat food instead.

Being a chicken lady you may not feel the same way towards those lil bandits as I do. But to me that was a nice little gift, raccoons are good people.
