Yes, they do 'good works' but they also deny the power of Christ, and if William Booth was sent back for a day, from heaven, He would 'blast them out of their comfortable seats and tell them to GET OUT AND PREACH His Gospel. Booth was more radical than any 'fundie' you may know; and Catherine, his wife, was just as radical if not, worse (you know us women...we can be so passionate about things we love)...

Many can have a 'form of Godliness, yet deny the power avaiable to them as clearly promised in His word.

Its called 'lets not become unpopular', lets just 'smile sweetly, and give others a 'watered down' Christ', lets make others 'admire us for being so kind', when in fact they should be pointing people to CHRIST, not 'nice'.

Its not about them, its about Christ.

If we do things to 'make us feel good', then we are serving ourselves, not Christ. We are called to love Him and SERVE others..its comes with the name, the name of proclaiming to know Christ.

With all things, 'tradition of men' settle into God's house, cooling the fire of those who really Know Him, they grow 'fat' on the word of God, and are 'asleep toward preaching His message with others'.

It is a church RIDDLED with MASONIC memebers; but its not the only one, there are many in God's house under this CURSED deception called 'Masonic Lodges' (go here for freedom www.emfj.org...listen to the Ex Masons, straight from the horses mouth, about the BLOOD OATHS, AND IF YOU LEAVE YOUR GUTS WILL BE CUT OUT, AND YOUR THROAT WILL BE CUT...etc...charming eh! 'Oh you can serve any God you like, we don't mind - when in fact the higher you go, they worship SATAN and all his filthy demonic powers.

There are many wonderful peaceful beautiful Salvation Army people, who are 'secretly sold out for Christ, and show the ABSOLUTE love of God towards many, BUT, they fold to serving 'man's popularity', God is a jealous God, and He will not tolerate 'idols in our hearts' and that includes the idol of worshipping or protecting our 'reputations before man, UNLESS we are displaying a character, a Christlike one, for HIM not for others. If we are serving Him, others will know us by our fruits, we wont need to tell them 'Im a christian', it will be evident which God we follow.

When does an apple tree have to shout out "Im an Apple Tree, Im an Apple Tree"...you can see what it is by its FRUIT on the branches, and its 'stability and ability to flourish good fruit' comes from the VINE. We christians are called to remain attached to His Vine (John 15), for if we don't we will wither and eventually die.

I left the Salvation Army, was uniformed, was TOO radical for them (..lol, I really 'ticked a lot of comfortable christians off, truth does that to people, and Im not interested in those who are unknown to Christ being hypocrites, but in God's house, that is a different matter, and when I speak truth to them, in love, if they can't allow Him to convict their hearts, then they will die, and remain 'stunted in growth'; USELESS, unable to be used for other's to comes to know Christ.

I was sitting in a gutter one day, with a precious drunken man, cussing and carrying on like a treat, I said nothing, just sat with him, in my 'ladylike uniform, with vomit all over it (so, its what drycleaners are for)...a CAPTAIN in the S/A said to me "You can't sit in the gutter like that, its not lady like"..

Boy, wrong girl to say that to!

I said, if my Jesus would sit in this gutter, which He would, then DON'T YOU TELL ME NOT TO SIT HERE WITH THIS lost soul - my uniform can be cleaned, and my uniform is NOT ON FOR DECORATION; its a recognisable uniform that lets others know I serve Christ, and if gets dirty, I'll clean the darn thing'...silence (after he nearly passed out).
