Either the police were completely inept or they were promoting a situation that would make us all line up to hand in our weapons. Same with those kids last summer, the official version doesn't make sense. I've lived in places where you needed a good weapon to defend against wildlife. I'd like to send these people to places in the north without a weapon. As usual it's people in air conditioned offices in the cities promoting this. People that have no idea and actually think that criminals will hand in their weapons and promise not to buy any more on the black market.
