It's over, folks. For better, or for worse, it's over.

May come back to bite us in the ass, but the gate is open.

Rural bars, people hanging out in front, food being served. Private campgrounds absolutely packed, people towing boats, ATVs, horse trailers, and campers. Social distancing practiced halfheartedly. In general, people looked like caterpillars coming out of a cocoon.

We even went in a convertible with the top down. The people are speaking.

Rural Missouri IS fun. Other good stuff around, but the sticks is where it's at for good food, cold beer, and some of the best people you'll ever meet.

KC and STL make us all look like dumbshits.

MO should gift STL to IL as they are equipped for such shit. Also gift the MO half of KC to Kansas. The state would flourish with those two minor gifts.

Mid-Missouri here. The workers at Walmart were still wearing masks (as did I). But it was busy. Several people brought their dogs to Walmart.

The workers at the grocery store and other local stores have stopped wearing their masks, though.

Everybody here seems to think that come Monday the 24th, everything will be back to normal. A lot of people are jumping the gun, getting in as much play time in as they can before they have to go back to work.

I expect the barbershops to be very busy next week.

I meant Monday the fourth. May 24th is when things are supposed to go to some semblance of normality where I work.

From what I'm seeing here, just my opinion.

Like I said in the OP, for better or worse, people have had enough.

Let's hope it holds to the good.

I just really hope there is insane vigilance on the city areas.

I have no idea how good the ‘testing’ actually is, but a resurgence is impossible to avoid so I really hope they are on the ball enough to have a system in place when if triggered they can lock down fast & hard.

I know that seems impossible to imagine, but, ‘if’ effective there is a chance to buy enough time to learn in stages how this thing is going to ‘pop up’.

It must be nice to see some normality. Let’s hope it’s not a major clusterfuck, nobody can say for absolute ‘certainty’ either way but.......one is for certain, it’s a very fucking big risk.

I've been back and forth.

BUT THE NUMBERS DON'T LIE

FLU like statistics.

In the beginning, it was unknown. Now, not so much. It's been around since Jan easy. Eastside of WA, 4 hrs from Seattle. We should be in the THOUSANDS.

A total of 300+ cases 20 deaths last time I checked.

you do the math...

Still nothing going on at the local hospitals in Southern California & County & State #s still at .0___ 5 or 3% ~ Absolutely obvious & ridiculous that anyone believes a pandemic. It’s interesting that there are now recent requirements in Walmart, grocery stores & a local retirement community to wear masks. A few weeks ago cases were decreasing from near nothing to even less. Psychopath Governor closed beaches in one county a few days ago without basis. This is the TEST before the 5G oxygen starving storm to be blamed on Coronavirus!! Hospitals are being conditioned & Directed (against protocols) to use ventilators & put CV-19 on Death Certificates which = a $50,000 per patient payout. A Dr spoke out (New York) saying he stepped down as he’s not seeing a typical respiratory failure. It’s more like the “bends” while diving. Or the other example was oxygen depletion at high altitudes... No surprise with all the 5G expedited during lockdown! I’ve captured photos of these installations personally!

Same in rural Oregon.
Not many take this seriously (like our overlords would have us believe)
Cops aren't enforcing bans and curfews and families are going to parks and the river.
Only libtards are wearing masks.
Shortages are just about gone.

People are helping people. And it's really pissing the governor of Oregon off.

She has documents & has done excellent work. It’s a grim scenario unfolding & it appears that the Fall may be their 2nd attack. ** WE DO NOT CONSENT!! 40mi SW of STL, just outside STL county.
NO toilet paper at Wallymart, Dollar General, or local grocer. Not a single roll.
Knock-off Scott tissue (1ply) at Walgreens is the only around. Limit 2 rolls. Employees at all grocery stores are wearing masks (not yet at walgreens).
No chicken at Wallmart or Costco. NONE. Costco didn't even have rotisserie. Local grocer was selling chicken breast for $4.85/lb. No ground beef at costco either. Costco only had the two most expensive cuts of steak.
Previous two weeks I went out shopping, the store was silent. No music even. No talking between customers. only Glaring. Went out today, more general conversation in the store, seems like the mood is starting to lift. More cars on the road.

I'm a semi driver in Texas. I35 through Waco is normally a mess due to a large construction project. Friday was the first day in 2 months where traffic slowed down for the construction. Normally that stretch is stop and go. I live in Dallas where the local authorities are still trying to stop everything, but every day I see more traffic.

I say focus on the problem - lock down and test the crap out of the nursing homes, high risk people stay home and the rest us - get the hell back to work.

I’d stay away from large crowd due to 60 Gigahertz 5G installations... Not any pathetic yearly Coronavirus!! Everyone should buy a meter to test the radiation, not a concert ticket. People should spend time researching & getting right with Jesus, as time is short! Party time should not be a priority anymore.., Generations after us deserve better!
