I have a little 23-lb dog. Is she going to protect me? No, well, she might bite someone on the ankle if they attacked me or she might lick them to death. But, she is great at knowing what is going on around my house. She can smell a deer, bear, or person if they are within yards of the house and barks to let me know. She can hear a car/truck coming up the mountain from a long ways off and barks. The dogs live, eat, and poop in the house. You can smell them and they can't cause they are used to it. They carry them everywhere. If you are that codependent upon you pet please shelter in place. |
