A few hours later, I woke up to find the skunk sleeping next to my arm. Two hours later I awoke to a big black bird perched on my shoulder. I found my power animal. The skunk was about boundaries. It was about finding my power and enjoying the freedom. It happened two months after my ex and I split. Quoting: Happy in Nature Two months ago a sloth climbed up the railing to the house and hung out with her baby by the front door until I could get the dogs away. A few years ago I tripped and almost face planted on a bushmaster. I had no idea it was venomous and wouldn't let my caretakers kill it. (I landed two feet from it.) Yesterday I almost stepped on a 2-foot cayman hiding alongside a rock. On the way home, I saw a brown spider monkey threesome, with the male spider monkey taking turns with both females in time with the barking of the dog below, but the spider monkeys tend to show off like that, especially the orange ones. My best experience with wildlife was playing foster mama to 5 fox kits (Huxley, Dolly Parton, Zeppelin, Janice/Juanita Joplin, and Jimmy Hendrix). I used to go to the beach (lakeside) with them twice a day with my cats and dogs. One day we ran into an armadillo - human, cat, dog, two foxes and a juvenile armadillo. This is my cat and one of the foxes playing together on the beach. I have shared it on threads a few times, but too cute not to share again. Sloths fascinate me, would like to see that zzcat who says Schrodinger's cat is even in the box |

It came over my way and attempted to land on me (possibly on my shoulder.) Ofcourse, I freaked out as it was dark, and I felt these wings flapping in my face and back. It was a good owl though, because it was not an attack (no scratching with beak or talons.) |

The burro kept checking on me and watched me until I hiked back to my car. I waved goodbye and the burro kind of nodded her head up and down. I was in a bad way that day. It made me feel like God sent the burro to be with me. |

Didn't want to bother her but felt something wasn't right. Went back to check and noticed some ducklings had fallen in a drain. Anonymous Coward User ID: 78139144 05/06/2020 11:45 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Deer ran by me full speed Quoting: Anonymous Coward 78723728 It was dark Scared the living shit out of me This happened to me a few years ago in a tightly squeezed HOA gated community. Happened so fast, that I got no adrenaline rush. I did get that rush 3 other times with alligators. Had the gators been facing me on 2 of the occasions,I wouldda been a statistic. The scariest, though, was fishing in one of my neighborhood ponds. Was fishing away and happened to look down to see a gator looking up at me from less than 2 feet away. That was the adrenaline rush of my life, even though it was just a 3-footer. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 73960537 United States 05/06/2020 11:45 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Took place in the late 80s. My parents split a lease for a fish house in the everglades. The lease was drawn up by the Seminoles down there. A family friend lived there 2 years and hunted and then my parents lived there 2 years on and off while also living in Hollywood. They would go to the everglades to metal detect and just get away from the city. Shortly after I was born, maybe 6 months, my parents took a trip back to the fish house. And in the pond out back, a gator had taken up residence. He was about 4ft long and my parents named him Rocky. They were concerned he might attack, so my dad started trying to catch it. He tried several different methods but eventually my dad just went into the pond with a rope, put it around the gator and dragged him to shore. He put it in one of those large kennel type cages and fed it hot dogs for a week or 2 til a friend showed up with a truck and they hauled it somewhere to be released. In 3rd or 4th grade I did a presentation with a story board and pictures of this alligator with my parents and me in their arms. The classmates that I was some everglades wild child born in the boonies. It was funny. |

A group of raccoons climbed the stairs and perched themselves outside my 2nd floor window. Raccoons are associated with thievery in dream interpretation. Looking at one just now it made me think of the McBurgular with its stripes. McBurgular= McDonald’s= Donald Trump. Honestly, I never ate there after the 80s but every time I drove past in the 90s I noticed it. I couldn’t stop looking at the name. So essentially, the raccoons showed up to warn me about the future. My life changed a lot after that. |
