That's odd. I sign any checks I get before I go to the bank with them all the time, and there's no problem depositing them or getting cash. Is the Trump check treated differently, or maybe it's your bank that's got stricter rules than mine. I got my stimulus direct deposit. Heck, you could go to a smaller bank and see if they will cash it and open a new account there for you. I've noticed small town local banks don't have as many rules. If you have ID it shouldn't matter if you already signed it or not, but I really don't know. Good luck.

Oops, never mind. I just seen that you said you tried to cash it with a cashier, and not at a bank. Well, you might have to start a bank acct. now, but you will be able to get the money. Look for a bank that offers free checking. My bank didn't take out any fees for starting an account there. So, you shouldn't have to worry about them taking out any money.

What in the world? I simply signed it, took a picture and send it to my bank. As I do with any check I receive.
