It's to condition the public to accept burkas and hijabs.

Nice. Thanks. I respect the philosophical answer but I'm not sure that's a practical solution for some business owners right now. You can not wear a mask and order online, or only go to places that don't require masks. All okay. But I wouldn't blame a business for requiring them right now.

I understand people being upset about not being able to open their businesses. I understand being upset about Possible contact tracing. I don’t understand why anyone is upset that Costco or Walmart requires customers to wear a mask. Are you upset about wearing a mask in indoor public places that require them? Why?

True, but is it that big of a deal to wear a mask in the grocery store for a summer? I Feel like If the people who are scared feel safe we can get back to normal sooner. It’s temporary. As more info comes out it appears the virus isn’t as deadly as the current death rate. It’s understandable that some are afraid because the see the current numbers which do look bad at first glance. Wearing a masks doesn’t seem to hurt anyone and can help make those who are fearful be calm and feel like they’re more in control of if they catch the disease.
 Quoting: *CindyLou*

THE TOTAL NUMBERS ARE A FUCKING LIE!!!

Do you understand that?

Masks do hurt - Bacteria loves moisture - 1st) you breath in and out with a mask on, all you are doing is breeding shit in your mask and breathing in and out bacteria that you yourself are creating. I won't even get into the handling of the mask putting it on and off without sanitizing it every time.

2nd) those masks only help 20% unless its a N95 and both 'have' to be changed and/or sanitized every day with a three day limit of use.

If YOU are wearing a mask, you are wearing it for 'your' protection, right? - so why the hell would you need to be afraid of someone who isn't wearing one---afteral you're f-ing protected, right?

Re: What’s the issue with wearing masks in public?
I don't believe I have an obligation to participate in someone else's delusions.

For example, do you know the size of a virus? Do you know the size of the weave on a bandanna? Do you understand how no mask is sufficient to prevent a virus from passing through? And what about the eyes?

It is understandable that people who are ignorant of the basic facts feel a sense of anxiety in light of how the media and the government have amped up the hysteria in order to enforce compliance to their demands, but it is illogical for you to expect rational, reasonable and informed adults to cater to your irrational fear.

That, in a nutshell, is the issue.

NO its not nonsense - I replied to your post I quoted. and NO- WTH should we read through a whole thread even if its a page or two? I'm not going to go back to the beginning to reply to posts that I want to reply to.

We respond to posts as we read them. What else do you want before we are allowed to respond?

Now, on to you N95 post. I read it after I did my first reply to you... Thats nice that you have a bit supply of them - goodie for you. Most people are not as fortunate as you. They are wearing whatever they can find to throw across their face mostly because they have nothing else and fear - mainly because they believe the fear mongering or its mandated by a store..

Heres an ex: I went to the local Dollar General and went down an aisle (that are barely 5ft wide) I don't wear a mask - a girl came within that 6ft BS (with a mask on) and she was afraid to go behind me to pass.

Heres the kicker! she had a homemade flat mask on that she didn't even cover her nose, so, I asked her why she was wearing a mask if she wasn't going to wear it properly and said "it's not protecting you unless you wear it properly over your nose too" (I didn't bother to tell her that it only protects 20% anyway - if that.)

She had glasses on - her answer was - "if I wear it over my nose it fogs my glasses.".. MO -She wears one because of fear mongering and feels safe just covering her mouth - a very uninformed person.

My opinion is that 'they' the Governors/elitist are testing us to see how much we will 'follow ORDERS' so far the dumb asses uninformed are following ORDERS and falling right in line.
