My heart goes out with the families of 5,017 Brazilians who died of coronavirus yesterday(...)

And I want to address President Bolnaro's remarks about me and mayor Bruno Covas, but before I do so, I want to tell him, the same president who told reporters "so what?" regarding the mass deaths... Mr President, I could list some of the actions you should have taken already, but you didn't. But my answer to you, is doing what you are NOT, starting by respecting Brazilians, the same ones who elected you president, and the ones who didn't elect you as well, respecting the fathers, mothers, grandfathers, grandmothers, relatives and friends who lost their lives till yesterday, over the same coronavirus you said it was "just a little flu", the same coronavirus you downplayed and told us "it's not important, it's not urgent", president Jair Bolsonaro. You should RESPECT the grieving families who lost their loved ones but weren't able to attend their funerals. You should RESPECT the nurses and doctors, who are working hard to save lives, to take care of people and save human beings, UNLIKE YOU, who spend your time at shooting ranges. Mr President, QUIT your evil policies, STOP messing up with those who are WORKING to save lifes, STOP politicizing the sorrow of a whole nation(...)
I invite you Mr President, to get out of your safe space bubble in Brasilia and come to visit the hospitals in Sao Paulo, so you can see your "little flu", so you can see the people agonizing on their deathbeds, so you can see distressed and concerned doctors, but if you are too scared to come to Sao Paulo, go to Manaus, so you can see the health system collapse and help their governor and their mayors(...) Be there and see the reality of YOUR country, not the reality of the shooting range you went to celebrate, while we all cry over the deaths of Brazilians.
(...) President Bolsonaro, GET OFF your bubble, GET OFF YOUR SAFE SPACE, GET OFF YOUR FAIRY TALES, GET OFF YOUR HATE WORLD, and go to the hospitals, have solidarity with the reality of your nation.
