He had every right to defend himself rather than be passively shot down in cold blood. Most people would fight back if they think it’s their only chance to survive. And if they surrender instead, that’s also an option. Not for me to second guess someone who is making that kind of split second life or death decision. But the killers are in jail and have plenty of time to think about what they coulda shoulda done so as not to be sitting in jail now. That’s good for them to have to think about it.
