I was a part of the pentecostal movement for a number of years until I saw all the bad fruit and bad doctrines. Then I clearly saw in the scriptures that, in fact, the revelatory gifts of prophecy, tongues, and word of knowledge ceased.

The pentecostal movement has its roots in the false revival of Azusa Street, and it just spread and bore more bad fruit with the false revivals of the 90's.

That being said, the apostasy is complete. Like I said earlier, no organized churches are true. The antichrist's kingdom has taken over them all.

And this is the plain prophetic fulfillment of Jeremiah 23:2 where God says the false shepherds have scattered God's flock.

The true church is scattered in the natural, but completely intact spiritually as the Body of Christ.

Here is Biblical proof that the revelatory gifts of tongues, prophecy, and word of knowledge have ceased. God still works miracles and heals, but Christians should never seek or a sign because of Jesus' warnings about lying signs in the last days.
