OP , I also agreed with your first video that as this person states and also agree you have an incomplete interpretation of the gifts of the spirit. Plus you cannot deny the gift of the spirit while simultaneously saying the LORD showed you because that is contradictory.

Denying that the gifts of the spirit are still at work is actually pushing the Vatican's false doctrine to scare people from trying to discern what is truly from God. This in fact was one of the things which led directly to the Protestant reformation due to Pope Alexander VI negligence of the churches' inheritance to the gifts.


Other than the verse spoken by Joel, Paul clearly states in Corinthians 12 and 14 (which you conveniently cherry picked 13 from) not to be ignorant of the gifts of the spirit.

Especially considering Lutheran is actually a term coined by Martin Luther's opponents. Martin Luther and his flock referred to themselves as Evangelist.

John Calvin also actually believed in a salvation by faith and never put such emphasis on predestination. This was also something done after his death in 1619 during the Synod of Dort in the Netherlands when that was made central to Calvinism.
