They didn't shut down ALL businesses, just small and medium businesses. The big stores could still operate, the ones on the stock market's dow or s&p. That made no sense and can't be legal. Should have left everything open and let the bussinesses decide if they want to stay open, or limit hours.

Yes, this could be the plan. Limit our consumer choices to the select few so we have no choice but to be tracked on everything we do and where we spend. First it was the internet tax and while they said it was to help mom and pop stores, nothing is further from the truth. It was meant to crush small internet business, so Amazon and Walmart would rule.
Btw, check your sales tax charged because many of them are charging people the wrong tax rate. Of course you have to know what the rules are regarding point of sale to determine what your real tax rate is in your state. Most of the time I'm being charged a city tax rate when I don't live in the city! I'm not supposed to pay a city tax unless my purchase is made IN THE CITY. Taxation without representation! So, these software tax calculators are messed up! Ebay fricked up on this and several other not so big vendors have also messed it up. Walmart got it right, so I know I'm right on this.
