Very cool! I would hate being stuck there. It takes a special person for sure to be an astronaut.

At least they are trained, know they are doing something important, and get a nice view from the window. Unlike many who are 'self-isolating' in their homes.

What is going on with ISS during Covid here on Earth?

Have there been an rockets sent up for rotating astronauts or supplies to ISS during the Covid months.

I haven't heard anything about the ISS in the MSM news at all since Covid.

Next point your telescope at Pleiades Cluster.

Doug Hurley and Bob Behnken will be launching on the first manned crew dragon in 10 days. They're currently in quarantine which is actually standard procedure for any crew launching to the space station. They'll be staying up on the station for a couple of months to test out the new vehicle and provide support to the ISS crew.

And that whole distance analogy is bullshit. Our eyes have limited vision and objects get smaller and smaller until they dissapear behind/beyond our subjective limited horizon (which is eye level) given the observer’s altitude

I don’t believe the ISS is 250 miles in altitude , it doesn’t look like it’s that high , it looks like it’s much closer to the high altitude air balloons 🎈 altitudes of 100-200,000ft
