Agree.
However, there is the concept of power for the sake of good.
What do you suppose Christ was referring to in the example I gave?
Quoting: Anonymous Coward 13455469 Do you mind if I answer your question? Quoting: thieves dared I always welcome anyone to repond to my ideas, so feel free. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 13455469 There is a distinction between the power to govern others and the power to drive a vehicle. Praying to G-D is asking Him to use His power in your life. That is not seeking the power to govern. That is asking for a Fathers help. Quoting: thieves dared You have spoken well IMHO. It is BOTH. True Power is Divine Power given from above. Only the worthy are granted this Power to judge and heal the land. This is becasue they have done the work and have demonstrated humbleness, kindness, compassion and Love for all... the most inherent and observable qualities of the Creator. Thus when these people rule or judge, they do so in service to the Divine Will of G0d and not leaning on their own Understanding and Wisdom. Kind of like when you are driving and you hear that little voice telling you to slow down only to find that had you not slowed down, you would have caused an accident. Those with authority to rule, have been given this power becasue they willingly relinquish it all to the Lord at any given moment.
