Maybe from some other disease they have, like low thyroid? I hang out with fellow vegetarians and we are pretty good cooks,I might add. We are all attractive, with full heads of hair and most of us never sick. I havent had a cold in years, and I was born with Lupus and a heart defect which runs in our family and am 8o yrs old. My drs. marvel at my good health and chalk up my good remissions from systemic Lupus to NOT eating meat. Blood tests show I have adequate protein in my diet.
