Agreed. This is beyond impossible. Buses with 15 students? staggered arrival times? This is fucking nuts.

Have you seen the youth sports guidelines? Do not leave car until immediately before engaging in sport. Masks at all times, social distancing.

People are simply going to abandon this insanity. CDC will become irrelevant... but not before people try to comply and cause more pain.

I was never comfortable with the way the attendance rules force you to send a kid back to school before they're fully recovered from the flu.

I was never comfortable with the work requirements and school requirements that led to classrooms full of snotty kids and discarded tissues because no one wanted to pull them out when they had a cold.

Don't even get me started on how the vast majority of schools keep the brighter kids from progressing because the class has to all go at the same pace.

And why is it against the rules for children to get up and stretch in class when they need to? Are we trying to give them heart conditions before they graduate?

I never understood going into an office for 100% office work. You can have a phone and a computer at home, why are you stuck in traffic for 2 hours a day?

Etc.

Three kids died in China because their lungs collapsed while wearing masks for sports. Do not let your child exercise or play sports with a mask.

A child could develop Hypoxia from wearing a mask all day

Teachers are stressed enough pre covid. There is no way this is going to work, teachers will have a nervous breakdown. Just do online schooling for one more year.

Here they are seating 3 kids per seat in the buses. How would that even work? Triple the busses??? That’s funny. Locally they tried to make it where parents paid for the bus and that didn’t go over well...
I also know there’s many schools out there without air conditioning. Could you see these kids wearing masks all day? The teachers wearing masks all day? I feel like the teachers would be trying to get kids to keep there masks on all day, that’s all they would be doing.

I didn't see it addressed, but how are they proposing even getting the kids to the school? you can't social distance on a school bus

There is no more going in to school, make your arrangements now.

My wife is a middle school math teacher. Today they're back at the school for 4 hours to let parents and students pick up personal belongings, then another 4 hrs tomorrow.

This is the first time they have been back since spring break, the teachers have to take it all outside for them to pick up.

Anytime a teacher goes into the school they have to "disinfect" their classroom, even if it was for 5 min.

What a shit show.

o Space seating/desks to at least six feet apart.
o Turn desks to face in the same direction (rather than facing each other), or have students sit on

Already made the decision to home school.

No law says these "rules" have to be followed. It's more divide and conquer by the commie enemy.

I've been waiting for something more definitive to come out. Anybody have a real sense as to what school will look like in the fall? Will we be back to normal soon or will there be a new normal for school. We've always homeschooled our kids, but last year enrolled some of them in school. If there's a good chance that there will be a new normal of social distancing, mask-wearing, no extra-curricular activities, at-home quarantining whenever a virus pops up... then I'm pulling them out again.

When you make too many rules, people give up and stop following any of them. This list is beyond rediculous.
