I used to think that a Chinese invasion fleet was impossible as it was not blue water capable. However, I then read an article saying that China had one of the largest blue water fleets in the world.....its shipping business using its tankers fleet. In today's world of small package / high damage missiles, it wouldn't take much to arm them either. Back in the Gulf War, we outfitted such ships with military hardware for defense. china doesnt have the kill chain to target ships in the middle of the ocean with their massive stockpile of missiles. |
