You can go to the very year they started and count from that very year.

Forms of liberalism or leftism take on different tints in various societies. Post-Mao China has been drenched in hard-left rule and thinking for over 70 years.

i think many would be surprised at how many Christians are in China. Christianity has always prospered under persecution. in the 1990s a professor from our seminary visited china. He was an exegete, an expert in koine Greek. He was visiting LCMS Lutheran English teachers (our disguised missionaries at the time).

The professor would go from city to city, and each night he would visit a large warehouse or a large hall and just sight read the greek into English then Mandarian. Every place he went was packed to the brim with people, and this was just by word of mouth. They have such a hunger for the Word. That a man knew the original language of the New Testament was a real treat for them.
