Northeast Ohio, shopping one every two weeks and running through the store like Carl Lewis. Went early yesterday:
80% lean ground beef at $6.99/pound (filled freezer at $1.99/pound just before the media picked up on the closures thanks to GLP)
Beef tenderloin at $16.99/pound (stocked up at $8.99 6 weeks ago)
Bacon at $5.39/pound (stocked up at $.99 2 months ago)
Everything has gone up substantially, and lots of unfamiliar brands on the shelves. I was happy to be buying fresh veggies, bread, and milk etc.
