Michigan panel rejects petitions to recall Gov. Gretchen Whitmer, Attorney General Dana Nessel

The Michigan Board of State Canvassers rejected two petitions aimed at recalling Gov. Gretchen Whitmer and Attorney General Dana Nessel Friday afternoon, citing factual errors and unclear language.

During a virtual meeting, the four-member bipartisan board unanimously dismissed the recall language against Whitmer and Nessel, both of which were submitted by Albion resident Chad Baase, 39.

In the Whitmer recall petition, Baase cited a number of the governor’s executive orders related to the COVID-19 pandemic as reasons she should no longer hold her current office, as well as her decision not to remove Jackson Sheriff Steve Rand from office.

Who is actually listening to her? I went out today in middle Michigan and people were having fun and taking care of business. I know lots of Lansing business that are open and flying under the radar.

The problem is everyone is waiting for Trump to do something, hate to say it but things will get worse there.

Since this is an election year neither side wants to give in, some states are in for a hella ride.

Wife was talking to her doctor regarding knee surgery, during the discussion the doc told her that in our area high school coaches have been getting lots of calls.

It seems people are actually willing to relocate just for their kids sports prospects. Mainly from California.

Who cares about them , we won the internet , there are still cell phones.

My parents are elderly and could die any day, and I have small children who will forget their grandparents exist if they go 3 months without seeing them. So I don't want to follow her rules.
