The article doesnt even say the number of cases is inflated it says that the number fo tests done by the UK government is being inflated to they can pretend to meet testing targets. It also said they retest negative results so they're doing it until they can get a FALSE positive (because the tests are bogus) and those numbers are being fed to the UK public as "new cases" to scare and justify the imprisonment of the population and gain compliance. It's ALL a lie. There is no "COVID 19" virus. As the Economist cover with the man on a leash shows, the sheeple are being punked and laughed at in the process. "These included repeating a test after receiving inconclusive results and double checking a negative result." It says nowhere about retesting to get a positive and retesting negatives would just give you more negatives and make the outbreak look better than it is WRONG. The tests give an 80% positive rate (even a papaya tested tested "positive", ffs) so retesting is likely to give the DESIRED positive result. Much like EU treaty votes. Don't like the result, do it over until the public can be bullied and brainwashed into giving the correct answer. It's also no coincidence that it was the Imperial College of London that kicked off this shitshow with it's entirely made up projections of massive deaths (500K in the UK, 2.2 million in the US) while the author of that bullshit was banging his mistress while having the rest of you ordered to stay home.
