Our nursing homes in Texas (in this county!) did not allow covid positive people on the grounds at all in Texas, and they cut down on visitation to bare extremes.

If a patient was suspected of having it they moved them to hospital where covid patients were being treated.

We had 2 die out of 32,000 in my county and not far away in Louisiana where such measures were NOT taken, they had hundreds in small county.
