He made her wait longer than necessary. I can remember watching it live and Potus' arrival was way behind schedule. Almost twenty minutes or so. And yes, I had the same thoughts at the time. I remember people commenting on him being rude by walking in front of her as he inspected the guards.

Her half-brother, James Stuart, should have taken the throne. However, he was Catholic and the English wanted only Protestants as rulers. The monarchs after that are all improper.

Succession no longer has anything to do with proper descent in lineage, as shown by this and many similar situations. It's time to reject monarchy as an illegitimate form of governing.
