It works and is effective as a preventative and a treatment so you can't have it.

After a ton of research I believe I've got the OTC prophylaxis. Vitamin C D3 and zinc with artemisinin. Take one day per week off or maybe two. But I'm taking one day.

Of course they'll probably make artemisinin illegal now.

Ordinary doctors who actually treat patients are not the problem in this case. The quacks are the bureaucrats in Washington who may have studied medicine decades ago but haven't seen a patient in that long and simply sit at a desk disapproving of everything useful.

Actually ordinary doctors are a large part of the problem, there was, and still may be special dispensation for certain classes, and it boils down to money, and not quality. Everything does.
