Sounds like he abused his position, which he inherited from his pops, David., wallowing in sensory overstimulation and such

Yeah he did live in lavish luxury, while slaves worked in mines to finance his excesses.

If you actually read the bible, the god character makes one mistake after another. Disobeying angels, who then change to snakes who talk to his 2 pet humans and they disobey him and eat the forbidden fruit. The god character could have just put this magic tree where his pets couldn't go...but no, that thought escapes it. The funniest thing is the god keeps getting angry at his failures but blames the failures ! It gets so bad at one point, it drowns the entire world! Killing every man, woman, child and fetus! This makes Hitler seem timid.Oh wait, he does save one family. Apparently so they can breed and continue one failure after another. Finally ending with some poor sap thinking the tales were true. The saddest part of the entire bible was that character nailed to a cross and yells my god,my god why have you forsaken me. A cautionary tale becomes a religion and a cottage industry all over the world.

After all GOD done for him and his ancestors he had the audacity to worship other gods, plus lust and greed probably.

Solomon allowed his many wives of many nations to worship False Idols. Bal for example.

Interesting you blame the God.

Are you a parent? Do you blame your parents for your screw up?

When your parents took/take issue with your decisions/lifestyle/attitude dont you think its because they worked their asses off to raise you "better than that" because of their attention, provision, love and efforts...

Does their disappointment mean they're not really your parents or are they unworthy of your respect be because they don't bow down to you instead of you honoring them?

I think you have really illuminated your own questions in the way you phrased your dissent.
You're the only one who gets to choose your vision... is the glass half empty or half full?

Ps.55:22 Give your burdens to the LORD, and he will take care of you. He will not permit the godly to slip and fall.

Jesus Christ is the only way to Salvation.
1 Corinthians 1611 AV KJ Bible
Chapter 15
1 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; 2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. 3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

Solomon and the Hebrews worshiped a crazy War God called YHWH.

Read the bible, that God got them to kill other tribes and told them they were the only people on Earth God chose and whom God would Save.

That God is not the God Jesus Preached about. In fact in his ministry Jesus told people the Hebrew God was The Devil, the Demiurge himself.

You can see the evidence of that from what they evil gods commanded the Hebrews to to to other people. Just use logic.

Now it was that nutty crazy jealous God who got angry at his servant Solomon who betrayed him by allowing the influence of foreign people who worshiped foreign gods.

G-d did choose us for the heavy burden of carrying the light of G-d unto the nations. We carry that light with joy, most times.

If G-d wasn't the god JC preached about they you wouldn't have stolen our Torah, Prophets, and Writings to pigging back off of. You wouldn't have had to twist our prophecies to legitimize JC to the pagan nations.

G-d has standards and he only had us go to war with those who continually refused to meet said standards after repeated attempts at correction.

Again.. because another one of my son had fallen with the old serpent king and queen hive mind bullshit, and the desire of the world and iniquity of sinful greed.

Another reason why I ain't having children, especially in any given wicked generation broods of aoulless beasts and progeny of vipers.

The queen [Elizabeth II aka Nefertiti] of the south shall rise up in the judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it [breeding of soulless beasts of the earth]: for she came from the ends of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon, and behold, a greater than Solomon [Elijah the prophet] is here. - Jesus in Matthew 12:42

Suddenly

No I don't blame fictional characters. That's the point. I don't blame Santa for the gifts I wanted. Likewise, I don't blame or credit a supernatural being for my life. I just point a few reasons why I don't. It's not real. Don't blame or credit. Understand? Honor who for what? More claims you can't prove?

His actions go back to his original mistake; he asked for wisdom, but he did not ask for a heart after God.
