I did too. So, i comsider stopping payment. Then i considered verbally saying that since he actually has an extra credit from HARRASSING me that he should prorate that. Keep deposit as the last month and not accept the june.

If i only had a place by the pro rated date. I would have to approach with readiness in mind of prorated of credit(forfeit deposit) as well as prorated date as deposit plus the credit. I think i already know the answer to his mizer mind.

I mean, final week of home schooling my child(hapoy and a breather from that stress), got landlord paid(happy and a breather from that stress), things opening back up(happy and a breather from that confinement), thinking i will focus on knocking out my accumulated power bill next(happy to try) and then it is like "i want to sell the place can you be out if i work with you" womp womp wamp.

Yes! My psyche can't wait. It feels like a bad relatiinship where you are itching to get to the moment you KNOW you never have to talk to this asshole ever again.

Did you guys do the hidden eggs? Like in ceiling fan lights and stuff? Sulfur stinch. I didn't but my roomate and i went to look at a house that some other friends moved out of. We were like wtf the smell. I called my friend and was like what is up with that place? Does it have sewer problem? Why did you guys move? ...they were like "oh you must be smelling the eggs we left hidden everywhere. We moved once lease was up because the landlord is a jerk".

Why didn't you fuck him harder?

For the feminists out there i could ad this: in my discussiin about catching him up he kept referencing my boyfriend(????) I don't have a boyfriend so to say you figured i didn't pay because i was planning to move in with my boyfriend(conspiracy to what? Ruin my credit) and then that he knew my boyfriend has helped me before etc. I do not have a boyfriend nor has one helped me. But who even says crap like that? Thanks but i contacted legal aid and 2 personal attorneys i know. All useless or honest. I sit on the fence about it. The useless part i decided is like this: just cause you know an eye doctor it doesn't mean he knows jack shit if you call him pee'ing blood. I think i had some superhero idea of law school and coming out a lawyer. Even lawyer who specialize in this(one i reached through legal aid) were referring daily to my state and local laws to be able to advise current given the situation.i had let a lot of website give me a smidge of peace.(thank god because tgat was the non REM sleep i was able to get on those nights). Truth is, in florida if a landlord says you are behind, you will not even get a chance to challenge until you pay the court in full to get a court date to go before a judge. By the time tgat gappens it is already on your record and credit forever. The judge might rule on length or terms or the day you are out by, but the case does not get dismissed.

Well even weirder, he didn't ask. He did this thing my mom and couple others do where they make a comment and wait for you to respond. I am so skilled at this type mind fck i never respond. My mom does it like "if you were in town i bet you went by your sisters" "i guess you like to stay with yiur friend because they have pets too" in scenarios with statements like tgat which are not questions i just am mute. Sometimes my mom will say "u there" i am like "yeah" she is like well you didnt say anything or answer. I am like " i was listening to you, i didn't hear you ask me a question?" You can hear the silent contortion. Then at a later date will even say " well i know yiu said you go by your sisters or stay with friends who like pets" and i am like "uh no, i never said that. U said that but u didn't ask me that and i didn't know what you even meant but those were your words, not mine". So i already picked up on that suggestive narcissist crap right away but stayed mute. It was so gross anyway, like somebody sitting around imagining how i must be trying work a fast one. Ugh, no i am inthe middle of a pandemic, taking on home schooling my child, dealing with a crippled pet, a mother with cancer in another city and trying to return to work. Not sitting around planning an undertaking. Lol

Moratorium in florida is not extended. May 29 and Desantis says he is thinking about it and not sure yet. Wow and prayers for others who are facing lockout in 4 days. Courts are open and writs ready to go. It is cruel and mind games to not be proactive with people owed from unemployment. Even people back at work can't challange the court without paying full per florida law. He should at least waive that law at the moment.

So if the moratorium that expires this week in my state until 9/15/2020 lol i think i will order a tshirt that says i am karma and i am a bitch.

I should stop payment too for june. Already filled out apps too that are good for 90 days at some places if i.put 250 toward deposit down and set mpve in date within the 90.

A friend of mine got screwed by a landlord who refused to return his security deposit a few days before he was leaving. He took a massive shit, froze it in the freezer, then sliced it into medallions. He placed them in all the air and heating vents, behind the fridge, cub boards, etc. Cracked me up.

A security deposit is never supposed to be returned BEFORE the tenant moves out. It's returned AFTER they move out, AFTER the landlord has had a chance to assess damage to the rental unit. Your friend was both wrong for demanding it and an asshole for vandalizing his rental unit. He probably would have gotten all of his deposit back if he hadn't resorted to that vandalism.

Get better friends and your life will change for the better also.

His wanting to sell the building and asking" can you be out if I work with you?" is a far cry from some landlord just messing with you for the hell of it.

It sucks, no doubt, but it's not an evil attempt on the part of the property owner to make your life hell just for fun.
