Oldest daughter is renting. Middle daughter owns her own home. Youngest daughter still lives with me, but her commute to work is longer than ideal, and she wants to move closer to her work.Oldest daughter said she would be willing to move in with me if I find another house.
This one needs way too much work, and our property taxes are going up about 70% next year.To top it off, they are building a new school at the east end of my street, and a commuter rail at the west end of my street.We are being squeezed out.

FYI, my 3 daughters and I did look at a house today that I can afford, but I passed on it because of foundation problems. This place was a classic vintage head turner, 140 years old, corner lot,big front porch, 2 blocks from the bank, post office, BMV, restaurant, stores, etc. The most perfect location in a small community to the south of me. God has something even better for me. I have Faith that He will take care of me. FTR, we all came home to hell on earth. 2 blocks from my house are hundreds of protestors. We had to really go all over the place to find a way back home, as the streets are blocked off by the city, county, and state police. News helicopters from Chicago are all over the skies.My dogs are going nuts. Currently, the protestors are blocking a main street, right down the street from me. Prayers needed.
