I was off work yesterday. Hubby said there was a protest in Lenoir (I live off of hwy 64). I'm leaving in 40 minutes to go to work at the Taylorsville Walmart. I doubt anything will be different there - freight, freight, freight, and constantly cleaning up after disrespectful slobs. *sigh*

My BFF sent me link few days ago citing where WallyWorld will now get into the 'gently used' after sale market.

Ha!! Can you imagine that?! No more imports of cheap crap so they figured the trend of resale is way to save their ass.

Went out this aftrn on few errands for provisions. Grocery store (big chain) had so many empty shelves, holes in inventory it wasn't even funny. Went to Target to get what I couldn't at gro store and damn if it's not the same there also.

Huge holes of missing or scarce inventory.

Am so glad I live on beer budget and don't 'need' all the fancy shit most folks have to have.

Some Walmart’s in Massachusetts are barricading the entrances after looting in Boston last night. I don’t think they’ll loot tonight again but who knows.

Ok, done with shift. Have found out several Walmart across the nation closed due to bomb threat call-ins. That includes the Conover, NC Walmart ... happened this morning (Don't know exact time).

If they are so essential, why are they not ordered to stay open?

They thought so little of their employees they had them working during “the most deadly pandemic in history “(ha!), but close the doors and barricade them if there is even a hint of 65” Samsung TV leaving the store not paid for. They closed again here at 5PM in Tampa Florida. Sams Club had normal hours, though.

They'll get away with whatever you'll let them get away with. Boards and barricades dissuades them most of the time.

Hundreds are closing temporarily, several dozen closed for repairs due to damages, but its not ALL walmarts.
