From the looks of it quite a few are upper class youths from well off families.

My guess is that there are some poor among them. some who really fight for less police violence, some hardcore leftists. And the great majority who is neither poor nor are they fighting for something, they just are out there for the entertainment, to smash things, the lust for chaos. They just use the opportunity.

It has to do with self control. True fighters for justice use the lawful way to change things. Like they become lawyers, work their way through the system etc.. That is the only way it can be done. Everything else will just make matters worse for everyone.

People have a right to be angry about things, whether is it the govt shutting down their businesses and losing their jobs over a cold virus or a bad cop killing a black man. The difference is the one group respected authority and other people enough not to cause chaos and carnage. Show me where any of those protestors broke into, looted, and then burned places down. You can't. The nogs & ANTIFA aren't really protesting for a purpose except to take down and steal things from people who have worked for those things, and to purposely cause chaos.
