How to help people wake up without being an asshole

1) You must be in command of the facts.

2) You must be able to explain it understandably to your audience. What good is knowledge if you’re no good at imparting it?

If you are a comedian, it would be very helpful.

How do you commamd facts when we don't know what facts
Are? Those who control the media, control facts. Finding the truth takes work, patience, time, and courage. Those four items are enough to drive away most people you are trying to explain your cause to. Thus making you look like a crazed authoritarian. This is the paradox we must face in sharing of the truth. Simplify the info you are trying to teach.

You got to look at what people are saying and see if it is true. Then challenge them if not. Ideally. But if I'm just skimming the news there are way too many problems to be dealt with. Most, including myself just let it slide hoping someone else will correct them. Someone will eventually. If you are an idiot, you'll get called out on it eventually. Don't go too deep down that rabbit hole. Use your brain.

The media these days is still coming out of the times of "click bait" journalism. They depend on internet traffic for advertising costs which pay their running costs. They will post inflammatory articles for "clicks". The Corporate Media has huge overhead costs. They rely on what private companies rely on to survive. A perceived good public image. They will not rock the boat and they wont air controversial news unless it caters to their needs. The needs of their cash supply.

Big news outlet journo's are just looking for a clickbait headline. Look at the questions that get asked at the Whitehouse briefings. They are still stuck in the sensationalism news circuit. That's where the money is.

It all ties into each other. The Mainstream Media is really trying to push the smaller presenters out now by manipulating their platforms, like utube and facebook, so they are the only game in town. It's the will of the money behind them as is their outlooks and insights. So as to appease that money.
