I Hate Bullying and Thuggery
Some people here have called me a Liberal because I have pointed out Police thuggery from time to time. I am extremely conservative with a wide Libertarian streak.

I hate thuggery. I hate bullying. Police have abused their delegated authority far too much and the demonstrations are showing that the people are tired of it. Do a YouTube search for First Amendment Audit, or Open Carry Audit, or Just Say No, to see how many (not all) cops arrogantly abuse people's rights.

I could post a dozen YouTube videos here documenting where police have murdered people and gotten away with it, were protected by their departments, and are proud of themselves.

Daniel Shaver, Oscar Grant. Eric Scott, Kelly Thomas, Jose Guerena, and Michael McCloskey come to mind. There are many more.

As for looters and vandals, I think the property owners should shoot them as soon as they commit their first act of vandalism. Nothing justifies the tactics used by Antifa and their ilk in trying to foment revolution. I support the President's efforts in nailing them to the wall.

Now we are seeing police officers, chiefs, and sheriffs and deputies, starting the kneel down with the protesters to show solidarity. I suspect much of that is expedient for the moment. Where were they, the "Vast Majority", a week ago?

Was Officer Brailsford's buddy one of the "Vast Majority" when he stood by and watched his partner murder Daniel Shaver? What about the "Vast Majority" of FBI agents when they watched their agency commit a mass murder at Waco and then its leadership lie through their teeth about it?

What we are seeing now is a wake-up call. By that I mean the peaceful protests all over the country and indeed, the world. It isn't just about "black lives". It is about all lives, human dignity, and natural rights.

If police are sincere in their "solidarity" they must from hence forth police their own to such an extent there can be no "Bad cops". They must also remember that people's rights come FIRST, not their delegated authority. The bill of rights isn't just an obstacle they need to get around. It is the Highest Law of the Land.

I'm not holding my breath.

This is what loss of legitimacy looks like. This cop's action is exactly why we have demonstrations against police abuse. The "suspect" responded with righteous anger. The cop didn't expect to held immediately accountable to violating the man's rights.

A question for the "Vast Majority": Are you going to continue to let your "Few Bad Apple" brethren get away with this behavior? Are you going to continue to cover for them, look the other way, pretend it didn't happen? Are you going to continue to write up your reports saying the "suspect" assaulted the officer for no reason? Are you going to continue to testi-lie in court?

It is well past time for you to clean your own house.
