Police in Grand Rapids fire a tear gas canister directly at mans face from close range. ⁣

I'm in GR and these people were literally begging for the police to do something. They were right in the faces of the police and the national guard taunting them and daring them to try to do something. They were screaming "you can't stop us just try it" Even before the national guard was called in and before things stopped being "peaceful" people were laughing in the cops faces and telling them they better call the national guard because there aint shit they can do.

It's like these "protesters" knew that the police were given stand down orders and that they were barely going to be able to defend themselves let alone the local businesses. I'm glad this asshole was hit by the pepper spray and tear gas. They were given a clear curfew and many announcements to disperse and they chose to stand their ground and taunt the police more.

They were literally asking the police to do something and then waiting for it to happen. Another guy got a rubber bullet to the arm and started crying and whining about how it hurt for an entire minute and he wasn't even doing anything wrong.

These people act all tough and hard and break get all destructive but as soon as a cop touches them in any way they get all fragile and break down and start crying like little sissies about how the big mean terrible police are assaulting them for being peaceful.

They go from being big bad protesters to cry babys for the camera in 2 seconds flat. I don't feel bad for any of them knowing that these are probably some of the same people that terrorized our city and destroyed our business, art museum, library, childrens museum and historical sites during their "peaceful" protest.

Police are regulated by laws, just like the rest of us. This should be investigated, and if it is found to be intentional, the cop should be fired. If laws were broken, he should be arrested. That is the way the system works.

If anything, this should've stayed isolated in Minneapolis... there's absolutely no reason to protest or riot outside of Minneapolis.

If these pussies had balls, they would've hunted down Derek Chauvin, dragged him through the streets and beaten him to death... end of story, message sent, justice served.

Either they show restraint and stand back and allow this all to happen and then everything burns and these people just keep pillaging and terrorizing. I think these rioters have taken full advantage of the restraint by the authorities because they know the police don't want some brutality lawsuit and the media will focus on any protester injured by a cop but they could care less about the rampaging wave of destruction that these people are leaving behind them.

It's like when someone get's in your face and dares you to hit them. These people are literally doing this. Nationally cops are being shot, ran over, assaulted and beat but the focus is on a poor protester that got injured in the line of duty.

Bullshit, cops are given their authority by the people. The man was already pepper sprayed and backing away then the thug cop did that. The cop should be brought up on charges and fired. Actions like that hit social media and it inflames the situation for THOUSAND that see it. They are held to a higher standard as they should be, if they can't handle it, they have no fucking business doing the job. Before any "you have no idea what they deal with" cucks show up THEY CHOSE to be a cop, no one forced them to be or stay a cop and these types should be forced out and good cops rewarded, instead it is the other way around.

You know how cops always say "tell it to the judge" , they are not and have no authority to play judge , juror and cop, that man could have been detained EASILY after he was pepper spayed, he was already backing up, he didn't do anything to begin with but approach them, the cops ASSAULTED HIM.
