I’m actually shocked that Houston is considered left, as the general population is absolutely conservative. Immigrants, however.. Even the elderly (who are most likely to vote) are conservative, as their often tied to oil. Definitely some corruption in regards to voting. As a Houstonian, I have to say I’m proud of how they’re handling the situation. The riots are significantly tamer than most other impacted metropolises, and suburbs are incredibly tight-knit in regards to offering defensive support. Most of my neighbors have 4-5 firearms ready to go at a moment’s notice, and that’s after lending out weapons for home defense. |
