Isaiah 40:31 - But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint. “They’ve got us surrounded again, the poor bastards.” - U.S. Army Paratrooper at Bastogne |

Moreover, when outright crooked cops (or "cops"---which members of federal law enforcement agencies can be labeled) such as the FBI's James Comey or CIA's John Brennan are fingered, and 100% victims like Michael Flynn or Roger Stone are fucked by such corrupt renegades, where were all these same liberals? Not a peep out of them. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 77682710 ![]() 06/03/2020 10:24 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | The latest political initiative from Hollywood might be its most insane yet. Here’s the proposal from some of tinseltown’s brightest: How about we as a society decide to defund our police forces? Quoting: Where Eagles Dare Yeah, real stunning stuff. In support of Black Lives Matter, A-list celebrities including John Legend, Natalie Portman and Lizzo have signed an open letter demanding that police forces in the United States be defunded as a response to “police brutality” and “systemic racism.” The left claims that these societal ills caused the death of George Floyd at the hands of officer Derek Chauvin, an event that has led to nationwide protests. Though these protests, all done in the name of Black Lives Matter, have devolved into destructive rioting in many places, thus elevating the need for more police. The irony of this initiative is especially potent with the recent news of the slaying of retired African American police captain David Dorn. In addition to Legend, Lizzo and Portman, Empire star Taraji P. Henson, lefty diehard Jane Fonda and rapper Common provided their signatures to the letter, as did U.S. Women’s Soccer star Megan Rapinoe. Other famous people like Chrissy Teigen, actress Blake Lively, and musician The Weeknd have donated to the Black Lives Matter cause. [link to www.newsbusters.org (secure)] Consider the hypocrisy: all those "celebrities" have private, armed security to ensure their safety. They want YOU to die, because oh by the way, they don't want you to have any self defense firearms, either. This is absolute absurdity. Yes, movie stars. Throw gasoline on that already-smoldering dumpster fire known as Hollywood. The pedophilic entertainment industry isnt quite flat-lined yet. |

I HONESTLY believe the STREETS and the PEOPLE would be MUCH SAFER with LESS of a police presence, and especially an oppressive police presence which demands one submit, or die on the spot. What I have noticed is the more police an area has the more crime it has. Why is that? Could it be they're the causative factor in a lot of the problems? |
