If you look at the date of the video you can understand that a week after recording the video there was a powerful earthquake in Japan [link to en.wikipedia.org (secure)]

I'm thinking the output from a tiny hooman is significantly different that of lets say a celestial body on a fly by.

using HF radios in the USMC would hear tons of stuff depending on your antenna config or location. sounded like aliens sometimes. we just got used to it. this sounds kinda like something we would here a bunch.

Sounds like high-speed digital modulation.

Could be anything. Maybe a Digital Radio Mondiale station?

I've been a ham for years. This sounds like the band going crazy. It'll happen from time to tie. Just means the sun had a fit that day.

You never send high-speed anything on HF. It's too fragile for HF, one good lightning crack 1000 miles away and your data transmission is toast.

i know atmospheric changes affect HF a ton. it bounces off it. You just sometimes get some wierd space weather or earth changes and it happens. always something on those bands broadcasting. HF carries the furthest so you get a ton far stations etc. I don't know anything about this one. just sound to me. familiar however

There is apparently a pirate radio station sending SSTV out on that freq. I'm not familiar enough with those transmissions to tell if this is one of them.
