Incredible weather event unfolding near the Kansas City metro area. 2 seperate MCS systems are about to collide! KC NWS has never seen anything like this. Wasnt anticipated in the forecast models either. The system over Missouri is travelling west while the system of North East Kansas is travelling east. This is a new one for everyone in the meterology field. The severity of these two systems is about average for storms. What's making this so unique is the very rare westward movement of the system over Missouri. The US is entering a very early summer like pattern. Next few days will oresent a few opportunities for tornadoes in the northern states. This is the year of hurricane destruction. This much is absolutely certain the pattern the way it is this year. Going to be a bad one im afraid.
