Nearly the whole apartment complex burnt down and several person died burnt to death and several others seriously injured including two firefighters. This from a lightning strike.
Just imagine how bright the lightning must have been and how loud the thunder must have been to those in those apartments.
Bet there was a lot of fire trucks and ambulances too.
Would have been interesting to have heard the sound of all the fire trucks and ambulance coming to the fire too.

It's an old video. The monument gets hit just about every year. Sometimes more than once per year.

Happens nearly every time such a storm rolls over the area.
