Ok, we live in a police state and there's police brutality widespread.

I can agree with that at least with respect to the War on Drugs and other issues.

The problem here is that you're rallying around Black Lives Matter as if this is some race issue. We do have police brutality problems and we have police state problems, etc... but it's not specific to any race. We all are being subjected to this, but the protesters and rioters are all screaming about "white people" and "the white man" and making it a race issue.

On top of this the protests are being used as a cover for rioters to loot and pillage businesses who have nothing to do with this.

And that's the whole problem. It isn't about being in a "police state" because if it was, we wouldn't be constantly hearing about how this is a White Man vs Black Man issue.

Instead we would be hearing that this is an issue of widespread civil rights abuses against people of all colors, but nobody in the mainstream media is saying that!
