I don't trust ads or online reviews very much. I really want something that works. Quoting: Lord of the Sheeple Any good advice is appreciated. Thank you! 25 years in public works. You cant filter flouride. The only thing that takes it out is reverse osmosis.... wrong |

Distillation. works 100% It works to purify water, but it does not remove fluoride. The fluoride is distilled right along with the water. Fluoride is difficult to remove from water. |

I used zero filter and I believe it does well but winds up costing more than spring water. Ultimately I determined I needed to get my own containers and go to a well or spring and then only filter if needed for taste or safety. I have collected rainwater in the past and filtered it through two filters for safety and taste. That worked great but the filtering was constant where spring collection was easier to do once a month. |

I have also read one should not drink distilled water because it will leach minerals from your body. I only drink spring water which does not have fluoride added. |

They also expire pretty quick with a family of 4 I would say 2 months to replace filters and rezin. |

Do you have a link that says distilling does not remove fluoride from water? Everything I've ever read about it says that distilling does remove fluoride from water. There are a few things that distilling does not remove, however.... ![]() The best way to clean water is probably two steps: 1. Run water through a 3 or more stage water filter with charcoal stage. (maybe RO filter) 2. Then distill it. It’s so disgusting that our own government poisons our drinking water. Quoting: Lord of the Sheeple when my berkey floride filters were past their time.. I did not replace them... you see... the amount if floride in water is not abnormal at all... there is a bit too much propaganda about the stuff... like it kills your pituitary and pineal and all that and its new age bullshit. you should not eat tubes and tubes of toothpaste and such... but overall the amount added to water is good for you... after all it cuts tooth decay so it also helps your bones and such. Bs. I watched scientific documentary on it. Even small amounts will cause major harm and it doesn’t help your bones. Stop spreading false info. KEATUI User ID: 79248662 ![]() 05/19/2021 10:45 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I bought one from waterscousa.com it filters out fluoride. After pricing it out over the long haul it was cheaper than berkey. It’s an Australian Company but they have a US website as well. It has a glass part that holds the water. Which I preferred over the metallic Berkey one. |

Are you city or well? Fluoride is a natural part of nature, and is common in the rural areas. It's not lethal like the city life. Fluoride they inject into the city water supply, is a byproduct of the aluminum process. It's highly toxic, NOT the same substance in a rural setting. |
